We are so grateful for everything you've done. Thank God for people like you. We found this week to be so educational, emotional, and the best thing we could've ever done. Thank you for this opportunity.

Thanks so much for Family Week at Pine Lodge: The pain of healing is worth the freedom ~ it's liberty beyond belief. You were all great to our family and we can never thank you enough for your patience, love and support.

My Dad is an alcoholic, he has gone to lots of places. He is in Pine Lodge now. He is working on his recovery and he is going to AA. My Dad took drugs and drank alcohol. My mom goes to Al-Anon and she sometimes takes me and Nicole. We are trying to help Dad work real hard on his recovery. My Dad could die from this disease called alcoholism. He hid it from us. He admitted it when we had small group at Pine Lodge. Pine Lodge is a place for people that have alcoholism and that have taken drugs. Nicole is my sister and my mom is Jenny. There are people there that are kind and very nice. They have helped my Dad admit this to get through his recovery. He is doing very well. I think my Dad had come a long way when he first came here. I think my Dad is really special to have help from such nice people. It was really hard to believe my dad had tears in his eyes through small group. I can’t wait till he gets to come home. He is lucky. I am proud of my dad that he is trying to get well.

"When it's more than a job: With a sincere "heart" I thank you each and everyone connected in trying to help my son Todd in his time of need. Thanks be to people who care enough to scold and praise and feel for other and understand one's pain. As a parent I say thank you and may God Bless each and everyone of you.

Family Week was a positive and rewarding experience for me. I feel it is a critical part of the patient's rehabilitation process.

She is doing so well – she is taking her electrician’s apprenticeship. I am constantly telling other parents with kids on drugs to get them into Pine Lodge ASAP, because IT WORKS!

All I can say is it was exactly what I needed…It was Family Week that made it all sink in and got me thinking about what I had done.

As tough as it was, Family Week was THE most useful thing I went through. I had absolutely no clue as to what had happened to my family until then. No idea. It really helped my mom too.

Family Week is what made everything REAL. It took away any idea I had that I was hurting only myself and that there were no other victims of my drinking.

That was the biggest eye-opener we have ever experienced! I said then, and I still say, every family with an addict in it should go through that process.

That family week was fantastic – we often talk about it. I know my son says it was so hard for him to face us but he got through it. As for us – we have our “space” back – he is clean so he no longer hounds us for money – he manages his own financial affairs and he is doing really well.
